Hulu released the trailer for King of the Hill Season 15 on Wednesday at the Annecy International Animation Festival. The show returns July 20.
Bobby Hill (voice of Pamela Adlon) and Connie (Lauren Tom) make their relationship official on Instagram. Neighbor Boomhauer (Mike Judge) comments with gibberish that includes “dang old hard launch.”
At the end of the trailer, both of their sets of parents catch them in bed together. Along the way, Bobbie has another suitor whom Connie catches kissing him.
Meanwhile, Hank (Judge) and Peggy (Kathy Najimy) play golf together. They also fall for a scam claiming Bobby is in jail while Hank laments an electric truck parked on the curb and attempts to repair a giant mascot.
King of the Hill returned last summer, set nine years after the Fox series ended. Bobby had grown up and opened his own restaurant, leaving Hank and Peggy as empty nesters.
Toby Huss took over the role of Dale for the late Johnny Hardwick. Stephen Root also returns as Bill.
Annecy also awarded creator Judge the Honorary Cristal Award for career achievement.
