Prime Video is teasing Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2.
The streaming service shared a trailer for the season Wednesday ahead of its premiere July 31.
Hailing from showrunner Bruce Timm and executive producers J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, Batman: Caped Crusader is a film noir-inspired animated series about the DC Comics superhero Batman, voiced by Hamish Linklater.
The show, described as “a hard-boiled animated series that follows the fearsome vigilante in his early years,” sees a younger Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, fight crime in Gotham City.
Season 2 will see Batman contend with villains Edward Nygma, aka The Riddler, and The Joker.
The voice cast also includes Jason Watkins as Alfred Pennyworth, Eric Morgan Stuart as Jim Gordon, Krystal Joy Brown as Barbara Gordon and Michelle C. Bonilla as Renee Montoya.
Other upcoming projects in the DC universe include Batman: Knightfall Trilogy, a three-part animated film from Warner Bros. Entertainment. A trailer released Tuesday shows Batman take on the villain Bane.
