A Maryland man made a repeat visit to state lottery headquarters to collect his second $50,000 scratch-off prize in two weeks.
The Gaithersburg man, identified only as Carlos, told Maryland Lottery officials he bought his $20 $50,000 Cash ticket from Lakeside Beer Wineon Lost Knife Road in Gaithersburg.
The ticket led him to visit Maryland Lottery headquarters on Monday to collect a $50,000 prize.
“You had me in here two weeks ago,” Carlos, who showed up wearing the Maryland Lottery T-shirt he got on his first visit, told officials.
He had previously visited on April 20 to collect a $50,000 prize from a $20 Lucky 777 ticket he bought from the Shell station on Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.
Carlos said his winnings from both tickets will be invested.
“I’m hoping to come back next for the $2 million,” he said.
