An Illinois woman mistakenly bought the wrong FastPlay lottery ticket online — and the mistake ended up winning her a $250,000 jackpot.

Th Johnson City resident, identified only as Holly, told Illinois Lottery officials she had meant to buy a $2 FastPlay ticket on the lottery’s website, but accidentally purchased a $20 Magnificent Multiplier ticket.

“I was watching a movie and accidentally selected the $20 ticket,” Holly said.

She recalled thinking: “Oh shoot! I didn’t want to spend that much.”

The mistake proved fortuitous when she ended up winning the $250,000 Magnificent Multiplier jackpot.

The winner said she couldn’t believe it when she checked the results.

“I honestly thought my computer had crashed,” she said.

Holly said her winnings will go toward building a new family home and buying a baby grand piano.
