Netflix has announced that Emmy winner Anthony Anderson will host its updated version of the talent competition show Star Search.
The series will premiere live on Jan. 13.
Episodes are expected to air on Tuesday and Wednesday and will feature real-time voting by viewers.

Several iterations of the program have been broadcast since the 1980s.
It most recently ran 2003-04, with Arsenio Hall as host.
Beyonce, Britney Spears, Usher, Martin Lawrence and Kevin James are among the entertainers who got their start on the show.
