Animal services officers in California came to the rescue of baby turkeys trapped in a pipe — and they revived one of the birds with CPR.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that two officers responded to a location in Mountain House were baby turkeys were reported trapped in a pipe.
They removed the poults from the pipe and found one of them wasn’t breaking.
“They were able to perform CPR until the tiny bird came back to life,” the post said. “They kept the little guy warm tucked into their vests and monitored it closely on the way to a rescue center.”
