A snake catcher in Queensland, Australia, was summoned to a home where a large coastal carpet python was found perched on top of the air conditioner.
Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 posted a video to social media showing Stuart McKenzie arriving at the home and expressing surprise at the snake’s location on top of the air conditioning unit.
McKenzie said the python’s size indicates it probably found its way in through an open door rather than squeezing through the unit’s exhaust.
The video ends with McKenzie releasing the python into a more suitable location: a tree.
