The Finnish Air Force confirmed cadets on a training flight were disciplined for using their flight patterns to create the shapes of male genitalia in the sky.
Cadets in the Air Force reserve officer pilot course engaged in the training exercises April 13 after taking off from Tikkakoski.
The Flightradar tracking service showed at least four of the planes followed flight patterns that created the shapes of penises.
Air Force representatives confirmed the pilots were disciplined for their actions.
“The Air Force requires soldiers to follow good manners and rules of conduct, and if these are deviated from, it will be responded to in an appropriate manner,” a spokesperson told news outlet YLE.
The spokesperson said there was no danger to other air traffic during the exercise.
“The aircraft remained in the training area assigned to the flight mission and performed the exercises given in the flight mission assignment. The aircraft did not deviate from their route,” they said.
