Dan Levy is reminiscing about Schitt’s Creek and Catherine O’Hara.

The actor discussed how he named the wildly successful show on CBS Sunday Morning over the weekend.

“You either loved it or you hated it, but it was what it was. It was exactly what the story was. What else do you name that show? Family Misfortune? I don’t know. That doesn’t sound entertaining to me,” he said.

During the segment, Levy returned to the Ontario town where Schitt’s Creek was filmed.

“A lot of memories with Catherine,” Levy said, fighting back tears.

O’Hara died suddenly in January.

The show also starred Euguene Levy, Sarah Levy and Annie Murphy.

“If that is the big crown jewel, fabulous. How wonderful,” he said of the show. “Everything else has to be something that makes me feel good.”

Levy also discussed his upcoming show Big Mistakes ahead of its arrival on Netflix Thursday.

The Schitt’s Creek alum portrays a pastor who becomes entangled in a “world of organized crime,” per an official synopsis.

Taylor Ortega, Laurie Metcalf, Jack Innanen, Boran Kuzum, Abby Quinn, Elizabeth Perkins, Jacob Gutierrez, Joe Barbara and Mark Ivanir also star in the series.

“It came from a fear that I have of being trapped,” he said of the series idea. “I like my freedom.”
