A South Carolina woman stopped at a store for something to drink and ended up buying a lottery ticket that earned her a $75,000 prize.
The Midlands woman told South Carolina Education Lottery officials she stopped at the In and Out Market on Trotter Road in Columbia for a beverage, and while at the store she ended up buying a $3 Bingo scratch-off ticket.
The ticket turned out to be a $75,000 winner.
“I was exciting,” the winner recalled.
The woman said the prize money will make her life a little easier.
“I know that money isn’t everything, but this will sure help me out,” she said.
