Netflix announced Tuesday that it has renewed the animated Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 for a second season. Season 2 comes this fall to the streaming service
In a teaser on Instagram, Mike, Dustin, Will, Eleven, Max and Lucas investigate a truck crashed in the snow. Though the teaser does not reveal what they find, Dustin calls it “a haunting in Hawkins.”
“Big news nerds,” the caption reads. “Tales from ’85 Season 2 — coming this fall.”

The animated series premiered Thursday and has been No. 7 on the Netflix Top 10.
Tales From ’85 features the voices of Brooklyn Davey Norstedt, Luca Diaz, Benjamin Plessala, Braxton Quinney, Elisha “EJ” Williams, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport and Odessa A’zion. Eric Robles showruns and executive produces with Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers.
“We’re thrilled to return to the winter of ’85 for Season 2,” Robles said in a statement. “A new paranormal threat has emerged from the town’s abandoned silver mines.”
