Comedy Central released an announcement video for South Park Season 29 on Tuesday. Season 29 premieres Sept. 16.

The 10-second teaser shows Cartman sitting on a toilet with a defecation noise.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced the date on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. After Stone told Kimmel their Sept. 16 date, the host joked that they would begin working on it Sept. 15.

Parker said, “We’ll go back to work at like the last week of August, but we’ll only go for a few hours a day.”

The duo also discussed last season’s parodies of Donald Trump and JD Vance.

Comedy Central set a schedule of new episodes biweekly on Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 11 and Nov. 25. Those episodes premiere Thursdays on Paramount+.
