Scott Foley is speaking out following news his Prime Video series It’s Not Like That has been canceled after one season.
The actor, 53, shared his disappointment about the cancellation and voiced his gratitude to fans in a video Wednesday on Instagram.
Noting that It’s Not Like That spent several weeks in Prime Video’s Top 10 and garnered “really great reviews,” Foley said he’s “disappointed but so grateful for the chance” to have worked on the series.
“I got to make a show I’m so proud of, with people I grew to like a lot, and now we don’t get to make it any more and you don’t get to watch it,” the actor said.
“If you watched it, thank you. I appreciate it. If you didn’t, it’s still on Amazon Prime. You can check it out; it’s not going to change the cancellation. But I wanted to thank everybody who took the time to check it out … it’s appreciated. So thank you.”
Foley ended by thanking the cast and crew, saying he would gladly work with them “again and again and again.”

It’s Not Like That cast Foley as Malcolm, a recently widowed minister who forms a possible romance with his longtime friend, Lori (Erinn Hayes), after her divorce.
The cast also included J.R. Ramirez, Caleb Baumann, Cary Christopher, Leven Miranda, Cassidy Paul, Liv Lindell and Tyner Rushing.
It’s Not Like That premiered on Prime Video in January and had an eight-episode first season.
