Scooby-Doo: Origins is introducing the real-life dog playing Scooby.
Netflix shared a video Monday featuring the canine star of the live-action series.
The clip opens from Scooby’s point of view as he walks through the woods and toward a cabin. After spotting Shaggy (Tanner Hagen), the perspective changes to show Shaggy picking up and holding Scooby, who licks his face.

Origins is a modern reimagining of the Scooby-Doo franchise following Shaggy and Daphne (Mckenna Grace) as they investigate a mystery surrounding Scooby during their final summer at camp. The pair join forces with Velma (Abby Ryder Fortson) and Fred (Maxwell Jenkins) to solve the case.
Netflix shared a first-look photo in April and announced the show has officially started production.
Scooby-Doo: Origins will premiere on Netflix in 2027.
