A South Carolina woman recently won a $75,000 lottery prize — thanks to her husband.
The Upstate woman scored the top prize — the last one available in the game — after her husband bought her four Bingo scratch-off tickets instead of the three she asked for.
“It was amazing,” the wife told lottery officials. “I had my husband look at the ticket and he didn’t believe what he was seeing.”
Purchased at the KC Mart #8 on Hwy. 9 in Boiling Springs, the extra ticket turned out to be a $75,000 winner. The couple quickly changed out of their pajamas and brought the ticket to the store to confirm it was a winner.
“I was in a daze,” the wife said. “And my husband was in shock.”
The couple plan to save and invest the money.
