Game of Thrones icon Peter Dinklage, who had memorable guest appearances on Dexter: Resurrection and The Lowdown last year, has joined the Season 2 cast of FX’s Alien: Earth.
Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter and TVLine reported the news Wednesday, but said there were no details available about who Dinklage will play in the second season of the sci-fi drama from show-runner Noah Hawley.
Season 1 was a prequel to the classic 1979 film, Alien.
The show premiered last summer and starred Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay and David Rysdahl.
Production is to begin next month in London.
