There will be no Season 2 for Talamasca: The Secret Order on AMC.
The drama about a shadowy group that investigates the actions of supernatural beings was the third series in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe franchise airing on the cable TV network, along with Interview with the Vampire and The Mayfair Witches.
“While we are not proceeding with another season of Talamasca: The Secret Order, we are proud of the series and grateful for the efforts of everyone involved, AMC said in a statement Friday.
“The Talamasca has a storied place within the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and we expect to see at least some of these characters, and the organization itself, in future expressions of the franchise,” the network added.
The show starred Nicholas Denton, Elizabeth McGovern and William Fichtner.
John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty were the show-runners.
