A new HBO Max series will focus on Jimmy Olsen and the staff of the Daily Planet newspaper featured in the latest Superman movie.
The DC Universe show will follow the ordinary reporters and photographers as they cover extraordinary stories in the contemporary American city of Metropolis.
Skyler Gisondo from Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and Vacation will reprise his role of Jimmy from James Gunn’s summer blockbuster, Superman.
American Vandals creators Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault are writing the series.
Season 1’s villain will be Gorilla Grodd, who has psychic powers and has appeared in several DC Comics story-lines.
