Another detail about the next chapter in the Ghostbusters supernatural comedy franchise was announced Saturday.
“Can’t contain this. Ghostbusters: Night Shift, an original animated series is coming to Netflix in 2027,” the streaming service said on social media.

The show’s executive producers are Jason Reitman, Gil Kenan, and the showrunners/executive producers are Ben Hibon and Elliott Kalan.
No voice cast or plot details have been announced yet.
The franchise dates back to 1984 and includes four live-action movies and two other animated TV series.
