A cow that sparked chaos with its time on the run in Oklahoma City was pursued by a rope-wielding man on horseback — and the moment was caught on camera.
The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed officers responded Tuesday to the area of Reno Avenue, between Tulsa and Portland avenues near Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City.
A video recorded at the scene shows a man on horseback working to rope the loose cow. The video shows the cow being boxed in by vehicles, allowing the horse rider to lasso the bovine.
The cow was successfully captured and loaded onto a trailer by 4:30 p.m.
The cow’s origins were unclear, but the Cattleman’s Congress trade show is currently underway in Oklahoma City. The event began Sunday and runs through Jan. 14.
