Police in Pennsylvania said an emu spotted wandering loose in a residential area was captured after multiple days on the loose.
Lower Windsor Township police confirmed the emu, spotted in the Red Lion area, has been safely captured.
Danielle Harris posted photos of the large bird to a local Facebook group on Sunday.
A person purporting to be the owner of the animal revealed the bird in the photos is named Bert. The alleged owner said two emus had originally escaped from their property, but one was quickly recaptured, while Bert remained loose.
