Keke Palmer’s mystery-dramedy, The Burbs, is returning for a second season on Peacock.
“We’re so thrilled that audiences loved Season 1 of The Burbs, and are going to get to spend more time in Hinkley Hills with Keke and the rest of this incredible cast,” Lisa Katz, president of scripted content for NBC and Peacock, said in a statement Monday. “A huge congratulations to all of the writers, producers and crew who updated the beloved original film and made something funny, warm and highly contemporary.”
“Moving back home,” show-runner Celeste Hughey wrote on Instagram, alongside a screenshot of a media report about the renewal.
The show co-stars Jack Whitehall, Paula Pell, Julia Duffy, Mark Proksch and Kapil Talwalkar as bored neighbors obsessed with what lies beneath their seemingly perfect town.
