Emmy-winning actor Jon Bernthal is returning as Frank Castle/The Punisher for a Disney+ special on May 12.
A post on The Punisher X feed Tuesday, shared by Disney+ showed a close-up image of Bernthal’s face, along with the release date for The Punisher: One Last Kill.
No other casting or plot details were immediately released.
Bernthal first appeared as the anti-hero in Season 2 of Daredevil in 2016 before getting his own two-season spin-off, which aired 2017-19.
He revived the character for Daredevil: Born Again last year.
Berntrhal is also known for his work in The Bear and The Walking Dead.
