FX announced the premiere date for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 18 on Wednesday. Season 18 premieres Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on FX, FXX and Hulu.
Charlie Day, Rob Mac, Glenn Howerton, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito return. Episodes in Season 18 will deal with automation, neurodivergence, LARP, Little League, tent encampments, baseball and more.
There will be 10 episodes in Season 18 after several shorter seasons.
The announcement promises celebrity cameos and the return of the McPoyles (Jimmi Simpson, Nate Mooney, Thesy Surface).
After 18 years, FX notes that the characters are in their 50s, and Frank (DeVito) his 80s.
