Emily Deschanel is slated to star in a new crime drama procedural pilot on NBC.
The actress will portray the psychologist and professor Georgia Ryan who transforms crime solving by centering victims, an official synopsis states, per Deadline.
“Alongside her team, this pioneering expert consults with the FBI to solve the most baffling and elusive cases,” the description continues.
She previously starred on Bones, ReEntry, Big Boys and Devil in Ohio.
The pilot’s premiere date has not yet been announced.
