The Handmaid’s Tale, Mad Men and The West Wing alum Elisabeth Moss has signed on to star in the new Hulu legal drama Conviction.
Moss will play Neve Harper, an ambitious defense attorney with dark secrets of her own who falls victim to blackmail.
House and The Good Doctor scribe David Shore will serve as show-runner for the adaptation of Jack Jordan’s 2023 novel.
Production is slated to begin in New York in June.
No other casting has been confirmed yet.
The Handmaid’s Tale, which was inspired by Margaret Atwood’s best-seller, ran for six seasons on the streaming service from 2017 to 2025.
