Disney+ has ordered a second season of Marvel Television’s Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
“Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery will return for Marvel Television’s #WonderMan Season 2, co-created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, coming to @DisneyPlus,” Marvel Television’s X feed said Monday.
Abdul-Mateen II plays Williams, an actor who leaps at the chance to play Wonder Man when he learns the beloved character from his childhood is being rebooted.
Ben Kingsley plays Slattery, an actor hired to play a terrorist in the film.
Joe Pantoliano, Josh Gad and X Mayo co-star.
