Dexter: Resurrection is expanding its Season 2 cast.
Paramount+ said in a press release Friday that Fargo Season 2 actor Bokeem Woodbine and Mayor of Kingstown actress Nona Parker Johnson have joined the show’s upcoming season.
Dexter: Resurrection is a sequel to Dexter and Dexter: New Blood that follows vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) and his son Harrison (Jack Alcott).
Johnson will play Fiona Mixon, a nepo-baby training officer in the homicide unit who becomes a new love interest for Harrison, while Woodbine will portray Fiona’s father, the unit’s captain.
Succession actor Brian Cox was previously announced to join the cast as the serial killer known as the New York Ripper, while Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens will play the Five Borough Killer.
In addition, Uma Thurman will return as her character, Charley.
