Cape Fear stars Javier Bardem and Amy Adams walked the red carpet Tuesday.
The actors attended a special screening of the show’s season finale at DGA Theater in New York City.
Bardem, 57, and Adams, 51, were joined by showrunner Nick Antosca and their co-stars Lily Collias, Malia Pyles, Jamie Hector and Margarita Levieva.
Also in attendance were executive producers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, the director and producer of the 1991 film adaptation starring Robert De Niro and Jessica Lange.
Cape Fear is a psychological thriller based on the John D. MacDonald novel The Executioners. Bardem and Adams star in the series adaptation, which premiered on Apple TV in June and will release its season finale July 31.
Adams and Patrick Wilson play Anna and Tom Bowden, happily married attorneys whose family is suddenly terrorized by Max Cady (Bardem), a notorious killer seeking revenge on the couple for putting him behind bars.
Cape Fear was also previously adapted as a 1962 film starring Gregory Peck, Robert Mitchum and Polly Bergen.
