Starz released the trailer for Spartacus: House of Ashur on Thursday. The series premieres Dec. 5 on Starz.
In a world where Ashur (Nick E. Tarabay) killed Spartacus, he becomes the Dominus of his own house of gladiators. The House of Ashur has fallen on hard times when Caesar (Jackson Gallagher) comes to visit.
Ashur’s best hope may be the female gladiator Achilla (Tenika Davis). In addition to gladiator action, the trailer also teases the debaucherous sex partaken by the ancient royals.
Graham McTavish plays gladiator Korris. Jaime Slater plays Caesar’s wife, Cornelia. Jordi Webber, Jamaica Vaughan, Claudia Black, Leigh Gill, Ivana Baquero and India Shaw-Smith are also featured in the trailer.
Steven S. DeKnight returns as showrunner, creator, writer and executive producer. Starz first announced the series in 2023 and released a teaser in January.
