Netflix has canceled its family crime drama, The Waterfront, after one season.
Deadline, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter reported the news Monday.
Created by Dawson’s Creek writer-producer, the eight-episode series was set in North Carolina and featured Melissa Benoist, Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, Jake Weary and Topher Grace.
The show centered on the Buckleys, a wealthy fishing and restaurant family who turn to drug running to maintain their business and lifestyle.
