Police in Berlin confirmed a wallaby was spotted on the loose in the southwest area of the German capital.
Investigators said the wallaby, an Australian marsupial resembling a small kangaroo, escaped from a private enclosure Sunday in the city’s Kladow district.
A witness captured video of the animal wandering loose in the city.
Police said they chased the wallaby for two hours on Sunday before the animal managed to escape into a wooded area.
A police representative confirmed the wallaby remained unaccounted for Monday.
