AMC has announced it renewed its supernatural drama, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, for a fourth season.
The next chapter in the franchise will be titled Queen of the Damned, based on Rice’s best-selling novel.

“We can’t wait to continue the journey with Queen of the Damned, one of the most iconic stories in Anne Rice’s mythology, and watch our established and beloved characters confront Akasha with their world, and ours, very much hanging in the balance,” Dan McDermott, chief content officer of AMC Global Media and President of AMC Studios, said in a statement Friday.
Season 3 of the franchise — The Vampire Lestat — wrapped up last Sunday.
It stars Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Sheila Atim, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle, most of whom are expected to return for Season 4.
