An Arkansas animal control department is asking members of the public to keep an eye out for an emu spotted wandering loose in Hot Springs Village.
Hot Springs Village Animal Control said on social media that the large Australian bird was spotted “wandering around the east side of the village, close to the Balboa Gate.” Advertisement
The post included photos of the emu wandering near a road and approaching a car.
Officials asked anyone who spots the emu to report its location to animal control.
“Please keep your distance as they can be very dangerous when loose,” the post said.
