A Virginia man stopped to buy a drink on his way to work and ended up winning a $100,000 lottery prize.
Arnoldo Sanchez of Herndon told Virginia Lottery officials he stopped at the 7-Eleven at Flagstaff Plaza in Ashburn to buy a drink before work and decided to pick up some scratch-off lottery tickets. Advertisement
Sanchez later scratched off his tickets and discovered one, a 10X the Money game, was a $100,000 top prize winner.
“I was confused. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” Sanchez said.
Sanchez said he plans to use his winnings to take care of his family.
