Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings prequel, The Rings of Power, is to premiere on Prime Video Nov. 11.

“From the very beginning, this series has embodied the scale, ambition, and cinematic storytelling that define Prime Video’s biggest global series,” Peter Friedlander, head of global television for Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement Monday.

“The extraordinary response from millions of fans around the world has made it clear that this journey through Middle-earth continues to resonate, and that momentum has only grown heading into Season 3.”

Season 3 picks up several years after the events of Season 2 and takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron.

The series stars Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Benjamin Walker and Charlie Vickers.

Season 1 premiered in 2022 and Season 2 debuted in 2024.
