“It’s going to be great, at the end of my life, to say, ‘Hey, remember that time I was on General Hospital?’ It was pretty cool,” Oliver laughed in a video posted on the daytime drama’s X feed.
“It’s packing it in all in one go,” he continued. “I get off a helicopter, shoot someone, make clumsy passes at women.”
Veteran GH star Laura Wright, who plays Carly, celebrated the fact that she got to slap Oliver, who played WSB spy agency head Z, in a scene.
“I wanted to be slapped. I think my staff want to see me slapped. I think my staff want to slap me,” Oliver said.
Ryan Paevey, who played Nathan West on GH from 2013 to 2018, recently came back to play Nathan’s previously unknown twin brother Cassius.
Executive producer Frank Valentini told TV Insider: “Ryan’s return was always planned as a short-term arc. He did incredible work, and we loved having him back.”
Cassius’ final scene shows him getting a job offer from Z.
“The door is always open for him to return,” Valentini said of Paevey.
