Netflix announced 10 more cast members for the series Myron Bolitar on Thursday. The series is based on Harlan Coben’s books.
Melissa Benoist, Bebe Neuwirth, Griffin Dunne, Isaiah Hill, Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens, Amanda Warren, Quincy Isaiah, Charlie Tahan, Sandrine Holt and Jamie Hector have joined the cast. Colin Woodell and KJ Apa were cast first, and five more including Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman and Ben McKenzie were added on Monday.
Woodell plays Myron, an injured NBA hopeful who becomes a sports agent. Benoist will play Valerie Simpson, a tennis player making a comeback after a breakdown on the court, as a recurring guest star.
Neuwirth and Dunne will recur as Myron’s parents, Ellen and Alan. Hill recurs as freshman baller Jayden Elder.
Banks was cast as Dwayne Richmond, a young tennis prodigy. Aikens will play his fiance, Wanda Green, as a series regular. Warren recurs as Richmond’s mother, Deanna.
Isaiah recurs as Mryon’s NBA client, Rodney Keys. Isaiah also played Magic Johnson in HBO’s Winning Time.
Tahan recurs as Roger Quincy, described as a man trying to shake his past. Hector recurs as Avery Crowder, a former criminal trying to make it in the business.
Holt recurs as Det. Sharon Steele. Jamie McShane was also cast as a detective.
