Firefighters and animal control officers in Florida came to the rescue of a curious canine that attempted to squeeze under a shipping container and became stuck.
Escambia County Fire Rescue and Escambia County Animal Control responded Tuesday after a dog was found trapped under a shipping container about 10:16 a.m. Advertisement
“The dog became stuck when entering the underside of the container and was unable to back out of the hole,” Fire Rescue officials wrote in a Facebook post.
The rescuers cut the framing from the container’s underside and were then able to dig a hole to free the dog.
“Escambia County Animal Control then used a ketch-all-pole to grab the dog from the confined space,” the post said. “Fortunately, there were no injuries to the dog.”
