CD Projekt Red and Netflix are giving a glimpse of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2.
The highly-anticipated second season of the hit anime series will premiere on Netflix in the fall.
Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes and return fans to the world of CD Projekt Red’s video game Cyberpunk 2077, inspired by Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk tabletop game.
In a teaser trailer released Monday, viewers are introduced to a new cast of characters in Night City, as seen through the lens of a young boy with a video recorder.
“This standalone story throws a fresh cast of characters into the darkest corners of Night City and brings a raw, gritty take on the world of the future. Lawless and unforgiving, this is Night City at its most brutal,” an official synopsis reads.
Season 1 told the story of David, Lucy, Rebecca and other now-beloved characters.
