The Ohio Department of Transportation said traffic was backed up on a busy highway when a crashed truck lost its load of pickles into the roadway.
The department said on social media that “there was quite a pickle” Wednesday on State Route 316 in Pickaway County.
The roadway was closed while crews worked to clear the truck and pickles from the road.
The driver was not injured, but the department said “the pickles, however, are speared.”
