Firefighters in Florida said drivers on a stretch of interstate faced a slippery — and potentially smelly — mess when a truck spilled approximately 4,160 gallons of milk.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said on social media that the crash occurred just after midnight Wednesday in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 and caused a Borden truck to lose its load — hundreds of crates of milk. Advertisement
PBCFR said 11 people were evaluated by emergency responders after the “‘udderly’ unfortunate crash.”
“Thankfully they were uninjured and none of them needed to be ‘moo-ved’ to the hospital,” the post said.
Firefighters estimated about 4,160 gallons of milk were spilled across the roadway.
“It took almost 3 hours to clean up after this ‘cream-mergency,'” officials wrote.
