Police in Oregon “had an amoosing start to their shift” when they were called to round up multiple cows that wandered into a neighborhood and blocked a road.
The Sherwood Police Department said on social media that the cows, dubbed the “Sir Loin Squad” by the department, broke through a fence surrounding their pasture and caused “udder mayhem as they hoofed it through the neighborhood.”
Local residents assisted police with rounding the cows up and keeping them safe while the owner of the animals was alerted to the situation.
“The cows were picked up by their owner and are back safely behind barns,” the department said.
