A Chicago man attempted a Guinness World Record by walking a distance of nearly 33 feet while holding a balloon between his knees.
Sam Farber, 25, who announced his attempt on social media last month, attempted Wednesday to break the Guinness World Record for the fastest 10 meters holding a balloon between the knees.
Farber achieved the feat with a time of 3.5 seconds.
The current record of 3.91 seconds was set by Swedish TV host Rickard Sjöberg in November 2025.
Evidence from Farber’s attempt must now be reviewed by Guinness World Records for his title to become official.
