An animal control officer in Colorado came to the rescue of a baby squirrel that fell out of a tree at a miniature golf course in Denver.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that an animal control officer was dispatched to Putter’s Pride Mini Golf when “a tiny squirrel took a tumble.”
Body camera footage from the scene shows the officer carefully picking the squirrel up from where it landed underneath a tree on the course.
“After mom didn’t return, this little chatterbox was safely brought to Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance for expert care,” the post said. “Loud squeaks, but a bright future.”
