Police in Alabama are trying to find the owner of a goat that spent several hours running wild through the streets of Tuscaloosa.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department said on social media that the goat was first seen running past Billy’s Sports Bar & Grill on Main Avenue during the afternoon Saturday. Advertisement
The goat was subsequently seen running across a bridge and visiting the Tuscaloosa Department of Transportation building before officers caught up with it on Seventh Street.
“Animal control took custody of the goat, which was unharmed but seemed tired after his hour-long ordeal,” the post said.
Police said they are still trying to determine the goat’s origins and get in touch with its owner.
“Apologies to anyone who smelled Officer Wilson yesterday evening,” police joked.
